Senior Designer
Student Affairs Marketing and Communications (SAMC) is accepting applications for a full-time, four month contract, senior designer.

As the lead marketing and communications office for the UC Davis Division of Student Affairs, SAMC enriches students’ lives and supports their life goals by connecting them with Student Affairs programs and services.

As an integral member of the SAMC creative and technical team, the senior designer develops and implements strategies and concepts, manages the production of digital and print materials, directs photo shoots and video production, and consults with and advises clients. Across all projects, the senior designer ensures the quality and consistency of UC Davis and Student Affairs branding. This position is also the lead for 3-4 student photography assistants.

Student Photography Intern

Student Affairs Marketing and Communications (SAMC) is accepting applications for part-time student photography interns.

As the lead marketing and communications office for the UC Davis Division of Student Affairs, SAMC includes more than 20 departments dedicated to providing programs, activities, services and facilities that foster academic success, student development and campus community.

Under the direction of marketing coordinators and department guidelines, student photography interns creatively document special events, classes, games, as well as team, individual and product images for print and digital promotional materials. Coverage includes but is not limited to student centers, resources and departments such as Campus Recreation, Memorial Union and UC Davis Stores. Student photography interns must be able to work 10–15 hours per week during the academic year. Summer availability is also preferable.

Student Marketing Intern

Student Affairs Marketing and Communications (SAMC) is accepting applications for a part-time student marketing intern.

As the lead marketing and communications office for the UC Davis Division of Student Affairs, SAMC includes more than 20 departments dedicated to providing programs, activities, services and facilities that foster academic success, student development and campus community.

Under the direction of marketing coordinators and department guidelines, the student marketing intern writes and edits content for a variety of mediums such as publications, advertisements, Web copy and e-newsletter messages with an authentic voice. Other responsibilities consist of campus media outlet submission and message construction on our email marketing platform. Coverage includes but is not limited to student centers, resources and departments such as Campus Recreation, Memorial Union and UC Davis Stores. The student marketing intern must be able to work 10–15 hours per week during the academic year. Summer availability is also preferable.
